Career Tip Tuesday: Your Professional Development Plan

Hi Ladies! It’s Tuesday and I am here to share a career tip!

It’s almost Spring time and many of us are making to-do lists for cleaning up our homes or making workout plans to get fit by the summer!

We often ignore our careers and creating a plan for we want and how we plan to grow throughout the year!

Since the clocks have sprung forward, I am sharing two tips that I am working on this season!

Identify what new skills you want to learn!

This doesn’t mean that you have to go back to school. Commit to being a life learner and identify skill in your field that would be beneficial for you to learn. ELEVATE! Think about your promotion possibilities!

I feel like this is the hardest thing because school does not teach us to ask for how we can improve at work. This act takes a lot of COURAGE! We may not like all the feedback given to us however, it will make you MORE aware of how people see you in the workplace. Ask a close colleague for feedback if you are not able to connect with your direct supervisor.

As always take risks! I love to have a fashionable chic look in the workplace and as the seasons change, I love to mix in more colors and prints! This SheIn Allover Print Tie Neck Elastic Waist Dress (Search ID: 633969) is a fabulous look for any workplace! Use code policy15 to receive 15% off any plus-size order $59 or more.

Ladies, let’s elevate our careers and our closets this Spring!
