I am so blessed be one year wiser! This year for my birthday,  I decided to celebrate in a less traditional way. I had a tea party! I invited a small group of women who I have built friendships with over the past five years of living in Washington D.C. to come together to laugh, share stories and CELEBRATE life!

We had High Tea at Tea Cellar in the Park Hyatt in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood in NW D.C. I planned for the afternoon to be a classy but relaxed occasion. I really wanted my friends not only to celebrate with me for my birthday, but also take time out to reflect on their own personal and professional goals for 2016! I love planning events and I plan to host more events for 2016:) I tested out my skills with my friends (they had no idea) each attendee received a gift bag and their worksheet to take home with them! The event was fit for a queen! I am so thankful to have phenomenal women in my circle! Every #GirlBoss needs a tribe behind them!
