The Holiday Season is here! It’s time to attend those amazing Holiday parties for your team, company and organizations that you are a part of. I want to share with you three tips on how to prepare for the evening and stay on your A- game at the party!holiday-party

Also, look at the invitation, it will most likely give you some sort of guidance and expectation on how you should look. Air on the conservative side if you are unsure of what to wear. Be Festive and Professional. You can add more SPARKLE and GLAM because that is a part of the season, but watch the fit of your outfit and your hem and necklines. 🙂 (Check out the items above for outfit ideas). 2. DON’T DRINK TOO MUCH! I am sure you are excited that it is the end of the year! Maybe you just finished a big project or met or exceeded a company goal? All of those are great reasons to celebrate, but make sure you don’t OVER-DO it. Remind yourself that this is still a work event.You can take advantage of the open bar, but know your limits. You do not want to be the girl that has to get carried out of the party and are the talk of the town Monday morning.

m1347070-360x2403. This is a time to NETWORK! The company Holiday party is NOT optional. Company parties mean that you will be in one room with all the employees of your organization at one time. Take this time to hang out with people in your department, but also meet new folks that you may not get the chance to chat with on a regular basis or do not know. It’s always great to know others in all levels of your company. I met someone at my companies holiday party  last year and learned so much about a division in my organization that I never knew existed! REMEMBER, it pays to be pleasant and nice:) You could be talking to your next boss or team mate, you never know.
