I LOVE a great fitting garment! So when eShatki reached out to me to do a product review was super excited! 

Don’t know about eShatki? They are a custom women’s clothing company,  they have a large collection of fabrics and prints to choose and YOU get to customize your look! You can read more about how it works here. 

 

First, you pick a design that you like, then you provide your measurements. This is a CRITICAL STEP! You must know your actual measurements in order to be successful with this! (I tried “to wing it” and the dress was too small) 

Second, you get the option to CUSTOMIZE your look, everything from the neckline, sleeve length, and hemline can be changed! After you finalize your look and place your order, you will receive your item in 14 days or so. If your item doesn’t fit, the eShakti team will work with you to make it right! 

I chose the Cotton Green Off the Shoulder Knit Dress for my customized item, I decided to make the sleeve three-quarter length and shorten the hemline for a perfect summer look! I wanted to create a dress that could be dressed up or down and fit in with any summer occasion. The dress has an elastic waist and tie belt that shows off my curves just perfectly. The best part about the dress, IT HAS POCKETS! 

The material of the dress is much heavier than what I thought it would be, on the sizzling hot summer days in DC it may not be a great fit. It is the perfect dress to take on vacation to pair with heels or cute pair flats or sneakers. 

Overall, I think that eShatki is great concept, especially for women who often struggle to find great fitting dresses at traditional plus size retailers! For all women it would be great to customize a little black dress or a more formal look that could become a staple in your closet for years to come! The quality of the items are amazing and would be a great addition to your wardrobe! They now have affirm which means you can break up your purchase into three payments with NO interest!
