I am back from the Curvy Con!

This was my first time attending… and.. It. Was. AMAZING!

Cece and Chasity did a GREAT job in curating an event that is exclusively for the plus-sized community. The Curvy Con gave us the chance to meet and greet with fellow bloggers/influencers, plus size models, and retail brands.

I was a Teal ticket holder, which did not get me access to ALL the events, but for my first time there it still was a great experience! Next year I will be a Platinum Ticket holder (I hear that there may be Black Friday deal for 50% tickets, can’t wait until Nov :))

First Thing First. SWAG BAG!

I got a great swag bag full of goodies that I will use no doubt! See the pics below of all the goodies. Can’t wait to get my free bra and jeans from Lane Bryant, spend my $50 Gift Card from Charlotte Russe, workout in my sports bra with my water bottle from Target! It was so much in that bag, that list was just a highlight!

What I Learned…

Network and BUILD YOUR TRIBE- Almost everyone in the room was an influencer, blogger, business owner, or retail brand. So happy I took this trip with the District Queens and another close friend that helped me to mix and mingle with others. Next year, I will be more prepared to network!

They talked about all things business and gave tips on how to transition from BLOGGER to BOSS!

Day One- Workout Gear

Day One Night Time/Fashion Show

I was so worried about having the same outfit as someone else. So my strategy was to pair some older items with new ones. This worked well. I wore this Black Puff Tulle Sleeved Dress as a shirt with a Black Leather Pencil Skirt from Eloquii.

Day Two -theCURVYcon!

The second day was the start of the conference and the busiest day EVER! I wore the Conversation Top in Mustard Yellow from Eloquii, I purchased this top just for the event a couple of weeks before. No better place to wear a shirt with cameras all over it! I feel like every two seconds I took a picture! I paired this top with a faux-leather skirt from Fashion to Figure that I got two years ago! It’s one of my fav pieces in my wardrobe!

I had a ball at Curvy Con meeting new bloggers, introducing myself to other influencers, and SHOPPING! Stay tuned to see the new items that I will highlight in the future!
