I had the pleasure of being invited to the Gwynnie Bee members event in D.C., the Inspired by You Tour! As a child, I ADORED dressing up and putting on makeup. At the event, we got the opportunity to see the new trends for the fall and try on actual items that I can add to my Gwynnie Bee closet! An hair and makeup artist was on the scene to get us ready for our mini photoshoot.
Kelly, Gwynnie Bee stylist took great care of me and she helped pick out pieces that fit me the best, get my feedback on the items I tried on and style me for the photoshoot. She was amazing!
My Two Favorite items from the event:
- Karen Kane- Snakeskin Scuba Dress This dress can easily be dress up, for a night out on the town with a sexy sandal and jewelry or worn with a blazer for work.
- Eloquii-Colorblock BodyCon Dress This is a GREAT date night dress. The material is perfect for Fall, it is a heavier material and will not work right now with the 90 degree temperatures in Washington D.C., but I plan to add it to my closet soon. It could possibly be worn to the office, I would caution you that it is a body con dress. It is more fitted than most. If you are not comfortable in showing your shape, you may want to pass on this one. For those of you who decide to purchase it or added to your closet at gwynniebee.com, remember you will need shape wear for this one!
I give both of these dresses two thumbs up, both pieces are chic and comfortable. They are great additions to add to your closet just for a few days or add to your wardrobe permanently.
