Summertime is time for LOVE and most importantly, WEDDINGS! I am just a hopeless romantic and I love attending weddings. I enjoy dressing up and most importantly, being a part of the couples SPECIAL DAY!
I recently was invited to a former co-workers wedding. The invitation said to wear something comfy, festive, cool, whimsical and be ready to dance! I was unsure what to wear, but thanks to Gwynnie Bee, I got a dress just in time to wear to the wedding!
Three tips to be BEST Dressed at the next wedding you attend
1. Know the venue. Will you be inside or outdoors? That makes a great difference in the shoes that you may wear and even the dress you choose.
2. Be Comfortable. Wear something that fits you well and is not too constricting. Wear comfortable shoes. You can wear your cute heels, but back some flats to dance in! You want to be able to HAVE fun and dance the night away, celebrating the new couple.
3. Say Yes to the Dress. Don’t spend a lot of money on finding a dress to wear. Going to an evening wedding? Look on Rent the Runway, they now have plus sizes! You can get the designer look for less. If you are in the D.C. area, they have a store in Georgetown where you can try on dresses!
Gwynnie Bee is also a great option, the only draw back is that you can’t pick when you can receive items out of your closet you build.
